Default new skill type: Enchantment attack

most of dervish powerful skills require enchantment on dervish, however dervish as a melee attacker, it's boring that she always have to stop attack and cast enchantment spell. So i want to suggest a new skill type - Enchantment attack.

enchantment attack is like that: if this attack hits, you are enchanted with something.....

for example:
aim attack: if this attack hits, you are enchanted with aim attack, your next attack skill cannot be blocked.

enchantment attack should be only available for scythe, the enchantment should be relatively weak and duration should be short, the main purpose is to keep enchantment on your while attacking and its good synergy with mysticism. it make dervish attack more fluent, more fun and seems not overpowered

welcome to comment

Most of dervish enchants cast time is 0.25 or 0.75 which isn't a lot of time. Imho, that's fast enough to continue the fighting without losing any time. Also, u can always cast your enchants before charging into battle.

It's actually not a bad idea, but it's unnecassery, small scale and bringing new skill types in gw1 is not going to happen.

This, and it isn't necessary. Just use your enchants before you run into battle.

Again, why do people keep on getting similar and extremely terrible ideas over and over?

Stop it.

1. Dervishes are pretty powerful as they are.
2. Most of the enchantments that they have now cause damage when casted, or when they end, which makes up for the damage lost by not attacking for.... 1/4th of a second. As Basch said, their enchantments generally have pretty short cast times, so you really don't lose much.

Bolded parts.

Every time you hit your next attack can't be blocked? so as long as they hit the first time they will never miss again.....seems pretty weak....not.

Reminds me of a stance. Also, 'enchantment attack' sounds like another way to say 'hex'.

Basically Enchantments they want to have 0 cast times are called skills. They're not that way for a reason.

...Ok, I'm all for giving dervishes a reason to be used, but seriously, WTF?

And in another form, this mechanic already exists. Certain enchantments deal damage on casting.
